Home To Home™ is an interactive platform created to help families, people, and pets with the difficult task of transitioning pets from one home to another. Oftentimes pets are taken to shelters when keeping a pet is no longer a possibility. Home To Home™ believes that pets should avoid a stay in an animal shelter and should instead be welcomed into loving homes. The Humane Society of NCA is a non-profit, 501C3 organization staffed by employees and volunteers.
Champ was severely dehydrated, undernourished, full of parasites and starving for food. We're told he tried to feed from a mother that wasn't his and was viciously attacked. He spent a couple of weeks with a foster and is now a playful and healthy puppy.

Champ is just one more story with a beginning that we wish we didn't have to write about. His story has a happy ending only because of a caring public, our dedicated staff, fosters and most of all your contributions and financial support. Rescue animals are the best, but sometimes they come from bad situations. We do our best to assess every animal as our fosters work with them in their home. Rescue animals need a home that will be patient and work with them. It may be time consuming, but it will be well worth it with the love you will receive from your forever grateful rescue animal.

He was left outside our shelter gate in 40+ degree weather and wasn’t where he could be seen by the staff. Only by the Grace of God did he let out some cries and was found. He was hypothermic and had an oozing eye wound. He was warmed up and rushed to a veterinary hospital where it was determined that he had a traumatic head injury. He had significant cerebral/spinal fluid on his head and was full of parasitic worms. He was also blind and his prognosis for survival was highly unlikely.

About Humane Society of North Central Arkansas
The animal shelter provides stray holds and adoption services for dogs and cats. Typically, stray animals are held for a minimum of 7 days in order to give their owners time to reunite with them. It also helps ensure the animal is in good health before being placed for adoption. After the stray hold, the animal is put up for public adoption. Our adoption fee is $30.00 and half price discount for those over 55 years of age. The animal is required to be fixed within 60 days of adoption, as required by city ordinance.
